did you update your computer before you installed ?
do you have vista ?? |
have xp , udated every thing except did not load sp3
|
you should have.
this was posted by admin: Some of our testers also found that XP SP3 makes Hoster run better. You can download and install this over the Internet free by clicking your Windows Start button, then the "Windows Upgrade" link. Select "Custom" versus "Express" and allow it to find everything you need to install before installing SR3. |

did you do your updates through express or custom ?
|
express
|
you need to do custom and install all updates.
|
I did that this morning. There are no more updates to install
|
If you have loaded all including SP3 and it still is giving you the script error, then un-install Hoster, re-download it (could have been a bad download) and re-install. Before you re-install go to C:\MTU\Hoster and delete all the .htm files so it can install a fresh set.
|
I will try that, let you know how it works out.
|
Tried everything, support says its a bug in the program.. Let you know when they tell me more.

Marquee,Audio,SND Work lyrics ah Nope!
After reading these posts decided to put together a support e-mail.
I too am having problems with the Lyrics. At first it gave the script error along with black screen. I then re-installed SP3 and IE7 and Hoster Double Checked My Direct X Microsoft Update said I had 0 updates remaining through custom tab Hoster Opens The Marquee Scrolls The Proud Hoster MTU Banner The SND on the lower part of the Show Screen displays several names the audio for the song plays but the lyrics page well that is just a snowy color confused freeze frame? ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THAT??? I"M CLUELESS |
This did not help me, but it may help you. Down load the softwar again from MTU. Its possible you got a bad down-load, follow the proceedure stated in the thread.
|
Thanks for the advice I did try that also to no avail.I will just have to wait for support to see if they can help.
Thanks Again |
There is a new 4.01 update for Hoster in the Support/Downloads. This fixes a script error and I think this should fix yours. Try it and see.
