install error

"c:\Program Files\hoster3321asetup.exe" is not a valid Win32 application
downloaded 3 times and keep getting same error

ddouglass June 6th, 2008 02:14 PM

The name of the setup file is hoster3321setup.exe not hoster3321asetup.exe as there is no "a" after the numbers.

did you save it to your hard drive or just hit run ?

phade June 9th, 2008 12:52 AM

Both. Saved it to hard drive and hit run. It saved it with the a. I'll try downloading again. I'll also try to do screen capture and post it if it helps. Any help is appreciated.

You need to turn in a Support Email to MTU to check this.

I don't know about error 7"a", but error 7 means you are using a different email addy than what is associated with that reg code. If you've changed your email since purchasing Hoster you might give the old one a try. I think your store account will verify the email addy's associated with the different MTU products you have.

no it's not my email addy error 7a is something to do with the reg code I have put it in exactly as it is but it still won't accept it it is telling me that the reg code is not the same as in their database which I cannot understand as it is the one they have supplied just waiting now for them to come back to me with the answer to my problem

What are you upgrading from?
If it is a version 3.3xx prior to 3.321 you should be using the regcode from that full purchase. If this is your first 3.3xx purchase then you need to use the code associated with it.
