updates
 
just wondering, what are the necessary updates ( custom ) in order to run hoster ..i am kinda having second thoughts now about updates, since after i updated to sp3, my laptop crashed after i re-started..

the crash probably had nothing to do with the updates.

hope so, the thing was, i just put in a new drive 250 gb. about 6 mos. ago on the laptop that crashed, and i was loading some songs when the updates icon came on, so i stop and did the update, after - re-started, got the blue screen..so ..but anyway it's all fixed now, put in a new 250 gb drive and mtu is kind enough to have my reg. re-set..from now on i wont worry about updates..if hoster is working, updates just have to wait

when was the last time you blew the CPU fan out ?? heat is the enemy of electronics

never , my laptop is always on a vent. i built a little box with a fan and my laptop sits on it....

it still wont prevent dust build up.
