Some WMV videos don't play
 

Does anyone know why Hoster doesn’t play all WMV videos? I don’t think it is a file size limitation as some larger ones play and some don’t. One thing I have noticed on the main computer (the Vista box I load disks from not the XP laptop I take to the shows) the files that won’t play ALWAYS show the file icon as the generic WMV rather than the thumbnail of the video.
Should also add I have the most current Hoster.

Got no idea, but have you tried the ones that won't play, using your windows media player?

That's the weird part. They all work fine in Windows Media Player.

Since WMV is a Microsoft created format then it shouldn't be a surprise that Windows Media Player would play them all.
I don't know what the difference is in the two formats (determined from the fact you have two different icons?). Hoster is probably set up for only one of the formats.

maybe you need a codec package. i have one if you need it ! its K-lite codec package.
