ok so I been reading about te problems that everyone is haveing about losing files. Im kinda confused! I have a friend of mine that uses hoster also and he bought 3.320 and has vista on his laptop! Is he safe from windows deleteing his files? Should he not use vista and buy windows xp for his comp.? I have windows xp on my comp. so if I upgrade to the newest hoster Im ok right? I guess what Im trying to ask is the problem that is accuring... is it becuase of vista only? :?

no its not safe, upgrade for free to 3.321

can he buy the cd when he upgrades?

why would you buy anything ? its a free download and anyways with the cd you still have to be online to install.

Download the upgrade then burn it on a CD.

oh ok do they allow that? will it work? Well like when you buy hoster you can buy the cd to be sent to you for 10 bucks...thats what i meant but if I burn it to a cd myself great!!

It will work as long as he is connected to the internet to install it.

Not so Beavis (who is OFTEN right on... I might add). 3.320 has the problem removed that "could" trigger Windows to delete... er... HIDE... all your KMA files in a fraction of a second.

Yes, he is safe, but 3.321 goes further. We spent several man months ironing out the VISTA incredible mess. It was HIDING your KMA files. 3.321 uses Folders and Registry Keys that Vista won't stomp all over.

Read the differences at: http://www.mtu.com/updates/hoster.htm and scroll to below the "prices" boxes to the VERSIONS. Most everything we did are listed there.

I definitely would download and install 3.321. Yes, you can save the download installation file to a CDROM. When we ship our CDROM, it has a snazzy Installer program, includes all the master install files for all MTU current releases, and their demos, so you can test drive them if you want. Of course it takes a unique RegCode for each product to register the full versions.
