Second Laptop

I burned all 3000 of my Karaoke songs onto my main laptop, then backed them up to an external hard drive, then ripped them to my back up laptop. Then I loaded Hoster on my second laptop and tried to discover the files on the second laptop. I get an error that I don't have the correct format. Hopefully I am doing something wrong and this is an easy fix, I don't want to spend another 40 hours ripping songs on a second laptop.

Please help.

What operating system (XP or Vista)?
What version of Hoster?

How did you "burn" them to the first laptop?
How did you "rip" them to the second laptop from the external drive?
What format are the files in on the second laptop?

Second Laptop

Running Vista, version 3.321.

Maybe I should try to merge the files instead of importing them from a Hard Drive. The problem with importing them is they are saved in KMA format and KMA is not a format option in the Import from Hard Drive function?

You don't need to re-import them into Hoster. Copy the KMA files from the external drive to the location on the laptop where you want to store them (C:\MTU\KMA Files).
Go into Hoster and Build the database using that folder as the location of the songs. This will add all of them to your database list and will allow you to use them.

Tools menu > Build Songs Database command is what Dale is saying, and he's right. :w
