Need more information.

What version of Microstudio?
What operating system?
What type of computer?
How much RAM?

Is this happening to all songs or just certain individual ones?
If individual songs is it everytime you play them?
Is it one particular brand of karaoke?
Are you playing these from disk or are they imported into Microstudio?

There is no way we can even begin to understand and help solve your problem without this info.

Hi Dale...

I'm using an HP zv6000 Laptop, running Windows XP Pro with service pack 2
It has 997 MHz 1.25 GB of RAM
The problem occurs with any song
All my songs are downloaded on my computer & played with Microstudio 4.22

Thanks for your help
Mr.Bill

Your computer is under powered and not enough memory for the latest versions of Microstudio and Hoster. You really need to have at least a 1GHz (I recommend 2GHz+) processor and 2 GB of RAM.
Second I recommend you go to Microsoft or Windows Update and update your computer using the Custom updates and get all the updates except for the hardware ones. Especially you need to get SP3. Though this is not going to help with your problem because this won't fix the under powered computer.
Are the songs on the internal drive or an external?
How big is your C: drive and how much free space does it have?

Hi Dale...

Thanks for you help. The songs are all on the internal drive, but I have 92 GB of free space. I think I may have solved the problem by decreasing hardware acceleration. That was the suggested fix for Vista computers, and so far it's working on my XP.
