why was it discontinued?
HI there,
I was interested in the DNoise program but I saw it's been discontinued....why? is there any way I can somehow get this program? |
It currently is a Direct-x plug-in that requires using an audio editor that takes direct-x plug-ins before you can use it.
That made us too dependent on others work, and the support issues were too great so we discontinued it. We are considering re-engineering the interface to be a stand-alone product that removes noise. From the past users feedback, DNoise was head and shoulders above the competition. I don't know how it stands today with the other products that now exist on the market. We must analize the market today to see if we can recapture a share before we spend more time on it. Thanks for asking. |
We are now underway on converting DNoise to a stand-alone product. We will be beta testing in October and early November, hoping to release before Mid November. :c

Thought I'd ask on this forum too.....Is the program ready for beta testing yet, and if not, what is the current feelings on when it will be ready??
Looking forward to testing if I can. |
We ran into some serious issues that will take about a month to fix. We don't have time now as all our programming staff are on Hoster 4.0 now.
DNoise is on the back burner until sometime next year. :s |
