ms 4.20 / 22 comes out as a 4.30 hoster download
 

my main pc crashed, died 2 days ago and i had to do a comp. upgrade on my other pc which is the same model pc. ( replaced hhd to 500gb and upgrade the memory to 4g, ) i emailed mtu, knowing the fact that they are busy, and may have not the time to send out an email etc. i tried to load by "clicking on re-installed w/o mtu " link..and so i clicked on 4.20 and 4.22 and one of them comes out as hoster 4.30 download..and 4.20 registration comes out as another product..

Billy you should have gotten an automatic confirmation email with your ticket number in it and a link to check on status. If you didn't get this then you have MTU blocked in your email program or your ISP has them blocked. If you got this you can check your status to see if they have reset your reg code.
As far as the version download mess-ups send them a separate email ticket and let them know that the versions are not downloading the correct files.

yes i did get a comfirmation email, but the link is for "current release version and prior versions are not available ", i didnt wanna do the upgrade, i feel like since i dont really use MS that much , i only use it to learn new songs and etc. ..

Are you sure you were looking at the right list?
I just check and MS does not have a 4.20 listed. Versions 4.23, 4.22, 4.21, 4.006 and 4.002 are the only versions listed. All of those show correct versions when I try to download. SOunds to me like you were looking at the Hoster list instead of the Microstudio list.
If it isn't going to cost you why not go ahead and get the latest version?
Even if the ticket says it is for the current version you can still use the previous versions as they are all the same reg code.

you might be right i'll check it again..thanks..i just checked it and i went to Microstudio download and it was 4.21 ( Aug. 4, 2009 ) caused i just downloaded the installation and it came up as a Hoster4.30setup

You are correct on that one. I thought I had checked all of them, but missed that one. I'll call them tomorrow and get it pointing to the right file.

this might be a dbl. post, i send the 1st 1 reply but it didnt go through, but anyway...i downloaded the setup and it wouldnt install, i tried the rest, but i keep getting a " for diff. product "..and ..while you're at the phone with them..maybe you can kinda ask them to re-set my registration:g:g..( just kidding )..i'll try to call them...thanks
