CreateSurface Error
 
Gentlemen,

When I try to play a "cdg" file with MicroStudio v2.311 I am, for no apparent reason, getting the following error message:

"CreateSurface(4) Failed"

I then have to reboot to get MicroStudio to play any file. The file in question will then run successfully.

Do you have any ideas as to why?

My PC:

Dell Dimension XPS B Series, Pentium III (866 MHz)
256 MB PC600 RDRAM (266MHz)
40 GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive (7200rpm)
PlexWriter 12/10/32A CD-RW
32 MB NVIDIA geFORCE 4x AGP Graphic Card
Sony Trinitron Monitor 19"
Creative SB Live Sound Card

This is a Direct-X error message under Windows
 
What version of Windows are you running; Win98, 2000, NT?

Make sure you have Windows Direct-X 8.0 or higher.
