Here's a great site for Perry Como Fans......

Almost every Perry Como Song with good Midi's and Lyrics.

a. "A" You're Adorable
b. Prisonser of Love
c. Wanted
d. No Other Love

P.S. Jimmie Rodger's is a Professional Golf Instructor at a Country Club in Joplin, Missouri and also does shows in Branson, Missouri.

Jim,
You're right, this is a great site. I've been there several times in recent months, but have yet to figure out how to download any midi files. Every time I do the right click routine on the song title , it wants to save a HTM file. If I left double click on it, I move on to another page. What's the secret?

Also need to answer your private message regarding the other issue, but your mailbox is full. Couldn't get through to you yesterday to ask about the midi downloads at the Como site.
You need to delete some messages from your inbox and make room.

Take care,

George

This is how I save them!

George,

This is the way I save the songs in the Perry Como site.
When I click on a song title, whether the song plays or not in the background, the midi file downloads to my Internet Temporary Internet Files directory.

I simply go there, find the song, copy it and then paste it into my Midi Files folders.

Maybe Kjzone has a different and simpler way of doing it, I hope so. Meanwhile, this works for me. Kjzone is right. It’s a great site!

To Kjzone,

I also tried to answer your private message, couldn’t do it. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Jon,

No luck at this end. Went to the temp folder while a song was playing and nothing there on either the XP or the 98SE systems. Don't bother to beat it to death though, it's not that important to me.

Thanks,

George

Perry Como Site.....

The midi downloads to the Internet Temp File, while it's playing you copy and paste.....if you wait till the song is over it deletes it's self.

Hey guys,

Finally cracked it. Would you believe I had two different temporary internet folders on each pc ? So much for computer repair shop techs. Just kidding, by and large they're a great bunch.

The normal c:\windows\Temporary Internet files kept producing nothing, and was always empty. This is where I kept winding up every time I searched,

I knew that stuff had to be going somewhere so just kept digging.

I wound up with c:\documents and settings\george(last name)\local settings\temporary internet files.

Anyway, once in the correct folder the Como midis were playing in, it worked. Totally different address on the other pc.

Thanks loads.

George
