Does Anyonne know when the software upgrade will be out for hoster so I can download and read the Super CDG's on my laptop? Rex

If you are talking about direct import that isn't going to happen.

MTU told me when I bought The Laptop that they were working on it and should have somthing by summer...I bought My Laptop from them to get away from my cds. Thats The Answer They Gave Me... Any advice or directions? Rex

What they are working on is to be able to import the 1000 plus songs under one BookID, but those songs have to be extracted from the DAT files on the DVD and converted to separate CDG files. This must be done by a non-MTU program. I have not heard or seen any mention of directly importing them into Hoster from the DVD.

You can import those song files now, but only 99 per DiscID and BookID, which means you would have to do some manipulating to get them all in. We went through the 2 SCDGs we have and picked out 99 files that we wanted the most and imported those after changing track numbers to fit in 99. We did this so we could use the ones most requested after our second CAVS player died in less than a year.
