Has anyone bought and tried to use a Sony CRX1611-82E drive for CD+G work. Please let me know your experiences.

Gary,
This drive is actually manufactured by: Sanyo instead of the older drive was made by Sony. So truthfully these are two totally different drives. I would not buy this drive. The only drive that I would purchase is one of the Plextor brand of drives. Plextor drives are the only ones that correctly do the Karaoke.
