Problem with Downloaded Songs
I recently went from 541.05 to 601.02. I have Windows 10 Pro. I just downloaded 40 songs. I also did a Build Database because I\\\'m getting ready to make new song books. Once the Build Database was finished, it said I had 46 Duplicate Book ID\\\'s Detected. I was curious because before I only had 6. Since I just added 40, I checked to see if it added them. It did??? When I opened Hoster, in Search I typed ZPCP2019. Nothing came up. That was the 40 I had just put in. I opened Songsmdb and they were not there. I was going to try to install them again, but first I was going to delete them from Duplicate Book ID\\\'s. I could delete them, but I couldn\\\'t exit without them coming back. Before I try to install them again, I need to find out if anyone has had this problem, or if there is something different in 601.02 on installation of songs.

Re: Problem with Downloaded Songs
I have the ZPCP2019 but I imported mine direct from disc.
Now mine is on 2 discs of twenty songs with 2 separate disc ids. Now first thing that comes to my mind is do you have them numbered with a track # 1 - 40 or two lots 1 - 20 all on the same disc id which could cause a conflict of track numbers ? So are you importing them via Import songs tab then the Index song files dialog ? Are you including track numbers in the define field order ? If you are, is the track # 1 -40 or 1 - 20 ? If it’s 1 - 20 you could set the track field to ignore or alternately renumber the track number of each file. Now if they don’t show up in the import window with the hide imported songs box ticked then untick that box and scroll down the list of available songs til you find one then set the define field order to match that disc id and it should just load those correct ones only to the lower window. The other alternative is open the ImportedFiles.txt. with notepad and delete those ZPCP2019 from that file and save it before closing. then only those files should show when you have the Hide index tracks box ticked. If you still have problems post us an example of your file names. When you say you could not delete them from the Duplicate disc ids file, did you still have Hoster open ? You may find you need to close Hoster before you can change the file. |
Re: Problem with Downloaded Songs
Roy,
I am indexing them. I am using separate numbers for the disc. example: Disc 1 is ZPCP2019-01-1, Disc 2 is ZPCP2019-02-1. I have it fixed now. I changed the .kma files for the songs. I had some dashes (-) in the wrong places. I\'m sure it was operator error. One thing I lost is the BuildSongDBLog.txt file. When I did a Build Database again, it came up with 6 in the BuildSongDBLog.txt instead of the 46. Now it\'s correct, but I don\'t know where it is. Thanks Roy, Ernie |

Re: Problem with Downloaded Songs
Roy, I did a Build Database again and it came back. I did have 6 errors. I then tried something. I deleted the 6 error songs in Hoster- Tools- Edit Songs. I did a rebuild and no errors. I then opened Hoster- Search and the 6 songs were there. I checked BuildSongDBLog.txt and the songs were still gone. Interesting!
Thanks, Ernie |
Re: Problem with Downloaded Songs
Perhaps you had 2 instances of those 6 songs. Deleting the 6 songs in Hoster then rebuilding with only the one instance may have corrected everything.
