what speed to burn at

i have the plextor 48 24 48
what speed is the best for making the masterdisks?
i am running windows98se with an athalon processor.
you say you test all drives so i just want to know the best speed settings that you suggest. your input would save me from trial and error.

It's better to run it automatically!:c

Open MicroStudio
Click on Drives
Click on Speed Selection
Choose Auto Select for both Reading Drive and Writing Drive
Click Ok..

….and you are set. :g
