what do I need?
 

I would like to upgrade. I'm running al old version of hoster.

I want to be able to take regular cd's and make my own karaoke tracks with them. and some of my cdg's wont import into hoster I've check out microstudio demo but is that all I will need? Do i need to update my version of hoster. Its Old like 3.301

What CDGs do you have that won't import? If they are Sound Choice with the mediaclog security upgrading won't help that. Hoster still cannot import them and neither can Microstudio.
I do however think you would be better off upgrading as well with all the new features that have been added. The new Hoster also has much better error correction for your imports as well which helps eliminate a lot of the screen glitches from older less than perfect CDG disks.
I'll let someone else go into the creation part as I have never done any of that and am not that familiar with KHPro.

As I understand it, and I have done it; if you have a Sound Choice disc that has the mediaclog security, you can notify Sound Choice and get a replacement disc, so that you can copy or download to your computer. Daryl.

Plus the cost of shipping & only if the disc is still in production.

I have a bunch of mediaclog cd's from sound choice and now can import them all with Hoster 3.321

I have a few with media clog and a couple that only some of the songs imported SC8674 SC8151 and some with an opec gloss on them SC8708

but my real question is what do i need to make karaoke tracks from regular cd's

i think you need khpro, don't asked how i have never tried it, i heard its a long process but it works, a friend of mine does that all the time..
