Moving Hoster to another Computer
I am trying to move Hoster Lite Version 4.11 from a machine with Windows Xp to a Windows 7, 64 bit system.
I have uninstalled Hoster Lite on the XP machine and copied the installation file to the Windows 7 machine. When I purchased version 4.11 it said it was compatible with XP or 7. So I figure it would work on my Windows 7 machine. Is this a correct assumption? Also, when I started the installation on the Windows 7 machine it gave me a URL to modify my computer for the installation, however, when I go there it says to access a file on my C: drive for the directions to modify my Windows7 computer so Hoster Lite will run correctly. Problem is, it does not install that directions file until you have installed Hoster Lite! Does anyone know elsewhere to the file with the directions to install on Windows 7? I could not find them on the MTU site. Thanks. |

You cannot get to the Hoster manual untill it is installed. Go ahead and do all that is listed in the remainder of the web page below the "Imortant Instructions" block then install Hoster Lite on your Win7 machine. The link for the Win7 instructions: http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/windows7-changes.htm |
