Let the one from the Windows Control Panel run. It will uninstall even though it looks like the install.

I'm having the same problem and your control panel solution doesn't work. It bring up the install shield, but that stops functioning after asking me to install a floppy or a memory stick to record my registration (I'm not a registered user). Like a lot of people, I don't have floppies lying around the house. I do have one, so I put it in there but the "next" button stops functioning. This is BS and I need an answer on how to get rid of this thing. Every time I turn on my computer, the install shield comes up automatically. MTU needs to fix this.

Sounds like install shield may have glitched. Try installing the program again. The install shield should tell you the program is already installed and do you wish to remove it. Say yes and see if that straightens it out. If it does, then don't go through with the new install.

Another option may be to manually delete the program from the default folder you saved it in, and re-boot the computer.
