arranging song book
I have indexed a very large data drive. But my songs are not in the correct order. I am unsure how to create the song book. The list in the index song window is KMH008-07-SHAKIN\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' STEVENS- LOVE WORTH WAITING FOR, A.ZIP. Is this the actual order of the file? If so, How do I instruct the program to order it?
The search window shows: book ID - Title - artist 305659 - Shakin\\\' Stevens-A Love Worth Waitin\\\' - KMH008-07 |
Re: arranging song book
Your search window shows you have Artist and Title switched, I did explain in an earlier post how to reverse those using the edit dialog.
If you indexed all your songs with one setting then its very likely that you would get them all mixed up as not all manufacturers use the same naming conventions. How many songs do you actually have on this drive ? I ask because creating a printed songbook you would only get about 18,000 to 20,000 songs in a 200 page songbook. I could remotely connect to your computer and try to show you how to either re import or edit what you have done so far, if you wanted to do that you would have to install www.teamviewer.com Also it would be a good idea to activate Private messaging in your user User CP. To do that open the User CP (Control Panel) go to Edit Options then scroll down to private messaging and tick all the boxes except (receive private messages only from Contacts and moderators) leave that one blank. Bear in mind Im in a different time zone to you. |

Re: arranging song book
This was problem was fixed. It was a Define field order issue which meant re indexing all the files.
