update to xp and zap!! no microstudio playback

HELP !!! I updated my computer to xp and now my microstudio ver. 2.400 will not play from cd or hard drive.
song starts but skips and graphics come up to intro and freeze. i updated to direct x 9.0 Runs good off of win.98
can someone tell me how to fix it.

Microstudio 2.400 doesn't run under Windows XP. XP wasn't released when this ancient Microstudio version was. :r

You need to order the upgrade (click here) to get Microstudio 2.609.
