Microstudio not finding Plexxtor 52/32/52 cd writer for karaoke

I have just installed the Plexor 52/32/52 premium cd rewriter and am having problems. Everything installed properly, but when I go to Microstudio and hit the "detect drives" it will find it, but it still says No to Karaoke. I have tried updating the ACPI files and still cannot get it to recognize it. Any ideas?

To my knowledge, the new ver of Microstudio (2.5) is not yet released: Check here Right now Microstudio only supports up to 48x burners.

Also check MTU News which states an expected release date of 7/15/03.

Flipioke is correct. This drive will be supported under Microstudio 2.5, when it is released. It is not yet in beta test, so it should be within about a month before it is released.
