old .cdg exe to .kpr exe

Hi

Downloaded and Installed new karaoke pro40,
noticed it,s possible to now save files to karaoke project under
file exe .kpr and then create a exe .cdg file.
But is there away of opening old exe .cdg files within pro40
and converting them to exe .kpr in order to re-design them on pro40, this would save a lot of time and utilize old cdg songs.
Can anybody help.:?

Nope...

The complexity of decoding the graphical coded CDG data back into ASCI is econonically unreasonable to tackle. Many CDG manufacturers used different fonts, with or without shadowing or outlining. Thus, there is no simple way to take a graphic pattern and patern match it to be a certain ASCI character.

I wish we could do this, but... I don't see it in the cards. :r
