This is where the drives that MTU supports can be located.

There is only one drive listed there. It doesn't say the brand, and just gives ordering info. Does that mean that that particular USB drive is the ONLY USB drive supported by the software?

Thanks!!

Just guessing.....but you should be asking the "Admin", but I assume the USB listed at MTU site is the Plextor USB.

In any case, you should stay away from USB Drives, as they take up a lot of your system resources.........and also,

Purchase a PLEXTOR DRIVE.......You won't have any problems.

May cost a little more......but believe me, it's worth it.

MTU also tests all the drives they receive, send back the culls, sell the ones that work, and therefore certify the drives they sell to work with their software. That's worth something in anybody's book.

I agree with KJZONE regarding USB drives. May be a different story after they've been around awhile.

The QUE drive has never worked for doing CD+G. This is an issue with the drive not being able to decode the CD+G in the drive itself, so if it doesn't say Yes for Karaoke under the Microstudio Detect Drives then there is no way that we can make it work.
