Keyrite suddenly goes too slow...

My Keyrite used to go very quickly when changing keys; Now, for some strange reason, it goes very slowly; but still changes the key...
Would appreciate any help with this situation...

I am afraid you are going to have to give us a lot more information.
What version of Keyrite?
What Operating System?
A more detailed description of exactly what you are doing step by step.
What you have installed lately?
Is the whole computer slowed down or just Keyrite?

What version of Keyrite? 2.012
What Operating System? XP
A more detailed description of exactly what you are doing step by step.
As I have always done:
  1. opened keyrite box
  2. select output file
  3. select key change
  4. stop preview
  5. save output file with a new file name
  6. select yes to a new file creation
In the past, the progress box would complete very quickly; now it just goes at a very slow pace; sometime up to two minutes....
The key does change, but very slow...
What you have installed lately? Nothing New
Is the whole computer slowed down or just Keyrite? Just KeyRite

Thank you for your help...

What size is your C: drive?
How much free space is on it?
When was the last time you defragmented the drive?
What kind of file are you using to do this (BIN, MP3+G, ZIP, KMA)?

The only other thing I can think of would be something running in the background that would cause it to process slow. No one else has complained that it slowed down any.

keyrite

I think I found out the answer.... Here goes....

When I use an outside source, such as an external hard drive or flash drive, keyrite does the slow thing... when I copy the songs into the a document file or a 'C' Drive file on my PC, it works fine... although sometime it continues to process over and over for a while, but not always.... Thank you for trying; maybe this will help someone else...
