I just received my USB DVD+R Burner from MTU yesterday. I'm using it with Hoster. I'm tickled to death with it. My default reader/burner was importing the graphics with random garbage in it. The MTU USB DVD+R Burner is importing the graphics without a glitch and my Karaoke inventory is Chartbuster, which I've heard has some problems with the graphics. So far everything has imported clean. I give the MTU USB DVD+R Burner a 10! :)

Thank you Kenny!

Some folks don't believe our drives are special, but your testimonial proves we ship drives that deliver our claims.... and that's what's important. :)

If you hold your Chartbuster discs and look at them edgewise... I expect you will see they are warped; ours are. Thus, in most drives, spinning at high speed with the laser trying to bounce a beam off a wobbly surface, the error rates are incredible!

Since Chartbuster never embed any "clear screen" commands in their CDG songs, errors build up to the very end, erased only when the song ends. The last lyric screens become literally unreadable from the clutter, especially when playing tracks imported to a hard drive.

MTU certified drives prevent many errors that other drives create (as you experienced) in reading the disc. Our Hoster and Microstudio software have the best error correction in the industry, further cleaning up any remaining errors.

The result, as you now see, is simply clean graphics without the random dots.

Thanks for posting, and happy Karaoking! :g
