How to hook all this up???

So far, here's what I've got for my starter system, and it's all brand new...

Behringer Xenyx 1202FX Mixer
Behringer iNUKE NU3000 2-Channel 3000 Watt Power Amp
DBX DriveRack PA+ Complete Loudspeaker Management System

and I'm running a pair of Behringer Eurolive B212XL Speakers

So, do I connect the DBX DriveRack between the mixer and the amplifier?

Yep, mixer to Driverack
Driverack to amps
Then obviously speakers from amp.

OK, thanks.

Now... how do I tie in the Lexicon device?

Does that connect to my laptop first, and then the mixer plugs in to the Lexicon device?

I'm using the Lexicon Alpha

I'm using the Lexicon Alpha

Computer to Lexi via USB cable. Use either the 1/4" or RCA outputs of the Lexi to the mixers stereo channel - not the RCA 'tape in' plugs. The unfortunate thing with this mixer is lack of eq on the stereo channels, so if you get something that's really bass heavy, or needs the treble adjusted, turn the mids down to blend the singer better, you will not be able to. You may be abe to get an eq software that will allow you to adjust the music eq's from your computer. That is one thing that is lacking in Hoster that should be added.

OK, thanks.

Do you know if the Lexicon folks have software to adjust the music eq from my computer?

Maybe something they sell separately that works with the Lexicon Alpha unit?

That program was released back in 2006, so I'll probably need to look around and see if there is anything more current available as to not cause issues with Win 7 Pro 64bit

That was just an example. It was literally the first search result I found. Just saying there are free alternatives that will work.

That does not look like an equalizer to me, it's a media player.
Unless you gave us the wrong link.

Re: How to hook all this up???

It has an equalizer built in.

They have a 30 day trial period so I'll experiment with it and see if just the EQ part can be used by itself.

Re: How to hook all this up???

After chasing down the right connectors, I finally got all this hooked up and it's working.

Now, on to learning how to tweak and adjust as needed and gotta get my monitor speaker setup as well as the flat screen for the lyrics.

At least it seems to be working OK and the amp allows the volume to get pretty high, but I'm only in my garage.
