MTUSUPPORT October 16th, 2003 05:11 PM

This Thread was copied from our Beta Tester's private Forum wher Keyrite 2.000 is being tested and reviewed.

Some of the posts were edited to remove unrelated discussion points, leaving only the comments about Keyrite 2.000.

There are 2 posts that were removed that indicate a possible improvement may still be obtained by further adjusting the controls. However, the overwhelming positive response to the improved quality is clear.

Downloaded and installed with no problems.
2.000 is much improved on last version.
Older version always sounded not quite 100% to me, but this 2.000 sounds spot on. Key changes on the fly, and sound are crisp and clear with a good tone. Add to Hoster ASAP.:g :w

Checked all functions out on both systems with no problems.

Put it in Hoster.

Impressed

Sorry couldn't get in the forum sooner, I had fun listening to songs I'll finally be able to sing!!

Not only did I notice that the quivering is gone (just a little bit on the Piano only) but I notice that the sound is much better in general, it's like if it was normalised or remix? It's all very nutral, balanced...

VERY PLEASED, WELL DONE!

Nice job!!

Well…well…well.

Everything appears to work better than I ever expected. :g :g

I am very impressed and happy with this version. As I had posted earlier, I did not use Keyrite because I was not too happy with the quality of 1.302. Anytime I needed to change the key on a song, I used my karaoke machine to record a WAV using the built-in key changer and then recreated the song on the new key using Kpro. :f :f

No more! :c

Today, I downloaded the 2.000 executable, dug up 1.302 from my backups (I had uninstalled it long ago) reinstalled, overwrote 1.302.exe with 2.000, and fired it up and….

… not believing what I heard, I started playing other songs, up and down keys I went, I played with 20 different tracks and changed down to -4 and up to +3 in all of them. :g

Keyrite is going to stay on my system and will become my favorite key changer. Crisp clean sound and good fidelity. In my opinion, a nice piece of software! :)

Let’s not discuss the quality of background vocals. No key changer will help you there. :g :g

What a sound

I have to say that the more I use it the more I enjoy!!

I almost feel like singing on another key all the time just so I can use Keyrite because of it's sound quality.

Who ever needs to buy or upgrade I suggest you don't wait, at this price it's a BARGAIN & it would only make sence for MTU to increase the price.

What a software!

Regards

Downloaded and installed.

This versions works really well. Tried some songs with very heavy drums, as I find these sort of tunes usually fail in key changers. But not in this version. :)

KeRite 2.0 A Go

Great job guys. Hope this new code works as well inside Hoster. If it does, and I have no doubt that it will, I will be able to eliminate the external key changer from my equipment rack.

New Keyrite

THANKS FOR INCLUDING ME IN THE NEW KEYRITE 2.000 TESTING.

2.000 IS A WHOLE BUNCH BETTER THAN THE PRIOR VERSION. I COULD NOT USE THE OLD VERSION AT ALL DUE TO THE "QUIVERING". I DO LIVE STAGE SHOWS WITH CDG AND HAVE A BIG ONE COMING UP IN NOV. I AM STILL TESTING AND TRYING ON THE NEW VERSION, BUT CAN TELL YOU THAT I CAN AT LEAST USE THE 2.000 ON SOME SONGS.

I'M GETTING A BETTER SOUND WHEN LISTENING ON THE COMPUTER THAN WHEN I TAKE IT TO DISK. GETTING SOME BASS DISTORTION ON SOME SONGS WHEN GOING TO DISK. I AM GOING TO TRY TO BUY SOME OF YOUR CD'S TO TRY. MAXELL CD'S I USE ARE BASSY AND DISTORTION SHOWS UP WORST ON THOSE.

I WILL SAY, ONCE AGAIN, THIS VERSION IS MUCH BETTER.
