Using Home PC as a backup for MTU system

My first post. Bear with me. I have an MTU rack mounted system for over 1 year now. I have the extra 200 GB HD as a backup HD. I would like to use my home PC (Dell 2.66GHZ, P4, 2 HD-80GB and 160GB) as a backup system in case of failure of MTU system. I cannot afford to have any lengthy downtime for failure checking/repair since karaoke/DJ is now my only livelyhood now.

I have installed "Hoster" software onto the home pc via a travel drive and everything works fine. I would like to utilize the 160GB HD as my emergency bailout system. I currently have about 60GB of data on my MTU computer. (ghosted to the spare drive)

I did try installing my 160GB HD in place of my spare 200GB HD in the MTU and ghosting it but received an error at the end of the copy process (I suspect because of the size difference in HD's???).

Any ideas??? Any direction???

Yeah, the music business can get pretty rough too,
might wanna get a "backup\" job as well, just in case.
