Hoster and Windows 10 Problem
Based on a crashed hard drive and then a change to a SSD and Windows 10 from Window 7, I now have intermittent audio interference when playing songs in Hoster. I never had this problem with Windows 7.
I have an Aspire E1-531 4665 laptop with 4 GB Ram, Intel Pentium CPU B960, 64 Bit and the SSD is 464 GB. I\'m connected from the laptop to a Bose T1 ToneMatch Audio Engine with it\'s output to a Bose L1 Compact Portable. To stop unwanted downloads I have put the Laptop into Airplane Mode. What else can I do with my laptop to stop the audio skip I get from time to time? I know this is a difficult time for a lot of folks on this forum and my problem is nothing compared to other problems we are facing, be safe! Wes |

Re: Hoster and Windows 10 Problem
Walt,
Thanks for the reply. The problem happens when I have Hoster running, and I\'m playing a karaoke song. I mainly use that laptop for Hoster. I also have another laptop with Windows 7 that I use as a Hoster backup, and that does not have the problem I have with Windows 10. Thanks again, Wes |
Re: Hoster and Windows 10 Problem
You have probably already tried this but just in case you haven\'t, click on Tools/Settings/Audio and go towards the bottom of the page and try different audio drop out settings.
The reason I asked if it is related to the BA Player is, I have had a situation for a couple of years where when using the BA player the songs skip during the first few seconds they start playing. This problem seems to be unique to very few and I only experience this on one of my laptops. MTU hasn\'t been able to find a solution and of course I haven\'t been able to either. All of these computers are the same but also are very different if you know what I mean. Also, don\'t forget the importance of updating your sound card driver as I mentioned in my first post. That may be the problem since is only started with Windows 10. Hope this helps!:? |
Re: Hoster and Windows 10 Problem
Walt,
I want to apologize for not following up on the problem after you took the time to reply to my audio problem. I think I finally got rid of my audio problem by updating Windows 10. Once again thanks, Wes |
