Searching in Microstudio

Is there any way or any version of microstudio that will allow you to do numerous searches without refreshing the entire file each time? It takes so long it having to refresh between each search. Thanks.

You don't state which version you have.
I'm running 4.30 the latest version and there is no need to refresh between searches.
Starting Microstudio up can take a little time to populate the database depending on the size but once complete multiple searches can be done without refreshing.
just highlight the existing search string type over it or use the backspace to remove it. each press of the enter key will look for the next match.

I made a video of me searching with it take a look: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/con16begZC

Re: Searching and Playing Duplicates

I bit the bullet and got the newest version. It loads my zip files just fine. And I can search like I could in version 4.006 though it doesn't bring all of the duplicate files up a new list like 4.006. Don't like that but can live with it.

But for the life of me I can not click the plus sign, or drag, or click control + insert to get those duplicates to the PLAY side so I can determine which ones I want to delete.

I have poured over the manual but must be missing something. Help Please!

Thanks in advance.

I have made another video to show you what I think you are asking.

Or though you can't see the lyric screen playing or hear it in this video It was playing as you can tell by the countdown timer but I did not have that part of the screen selected but I think I've demonstrated the selecting duplicates part and getting them into the playlist.
If I misunderstood your problem come back and let us know.

Heres the video instruction Link:
