Registering on a new computer

Need to register Keyrite on a new computer as the old one is tired and slow. Is there an uninstall process I can do on the old computer so that I do not get the "already registered on 2 computers" message?

Thanks,

Les

I believe you are allowed to install Keyrite on two computers that you own. At least that's what my 2009 manual reads.

That is my understanding as well George, but it's a second machine that I am replacing. When attempting to install it tells me that it's already been registered to 2 machines. I have no desire to abuse this rule, but there should be some way of moving it to a new machine and retiring the old machine in a way that assures MTU that their rights are not being violated.

You might get better results to post your request in the CRITICAL REGISTRATION FORUM, this being a Fri. and all.

Explain the problem and ask to have your registration reset.

That should do it.

I will give that a shot, George. Thanks, and have a good weekend...

This is now fixed so that you can reinstall the software.

Upgraded to 3rd PC since buying Keyrite

Hi,
I wasn't able to locate a button to start a new post, so my option was to reply to this one. Can someone please guide me as to how to get my license count reset?

Thanks - Gary

No need to reply to my last post

I posted above, as I couldn't create a support ticket using either my "sales" or "forum" account names/ passwords. Later, I learned that support requires its own distinct account name/ password (3 in all at MTU), and now have submitted a support ticket.

Cheers - Gary
