I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PLEXTOR WRITER THAT I PURCHASED FROM YOUR COMPANY. IT DOES TASKS THAT I DID NOT EXPECT. BY COPING A SCRACHED DISC AT A HIGHER SPEED IT ELIMINATES THE SKIP.

Thanks for the testimonial. This is a very interesting point you are making. However, could you explain what you mean by "the skip" so others will know?

THE SKIP

THE SKIP MEANS A DISC THAT IS DAMAGED TO THE POINT THAT WHEN PLAYED IT SKIPS OR STOPS PLAYING

PLEXTOR CD-G COPIES

I HAVE FOUND THAT ERRORS DUE TO SCRATCHES CAN BE CORRECTED IN MOST CASES. YOU HAVE TO VARY THE COPY SPEED TO FIND WHICH SPEED WILL WORK IN YOUR CASE. MEDIA TYPE, COMPUTER, PROCESSOR SPEED, ETC. ARE ALL FACTORS WHICH APPLY

scratched CD's

I've been doing KJ stuff or over 3 years... I re-finish scratched CD's with auto polish scratch remover. Works like a charm... it is the top of the cd that is fragil, not the bottom. you can even buy a re-finisher (disk dr.) for under $30.

SURFACE REPAIR

THE DISCS I USE THIS ON HAVE BEEN SURFACE REPAIRED SO MANY TIMES THAT THEY ARE BECOMING VERY THIN, SOME OF THESE DISCS ARE OVER TEN YEARS OLD AND HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL KJ'S
