Unexpected ASPI Error Plextor 712A
 

I recently purchased the Plextor PX-712A. I kept receiving this error while importing files today:

Error reading sector...(sector numbers) Unexpected ASPI Error (04h 00h 00h)

I tried many things to resolve the error, but what finally worked was plugging the drive into the same USB port I first used it in. Why that makes a difference is anybodu's guess. But apparently it does.
