Walt as I said MTU has been working on it and the beta testers have had some testing on it.It is not quite right so MTU decided not to include it yet. As you well know MTU doesn't release anything that is showing not to work correctly. Yes we would all like to have the Tempo control, however we want one that doesn't cause problems with the rest of the program.
Saying you are going to include something and actually getting the programming to mesh correctly are two different things. Cut them some slack and you will see a much better product than any other program on the market.

Dale,
You posted your input on tempo approximately 9 months ago. I did a quick searce and back in January of 2009, MTU was talking about offering the additon of tempo (3 years ago). As I said, it was a quick search, maybe it has been even longer. The thread discussing this has been closed. Is this still in the works or has MTU abandoned this feature?

Walt,

Your patience will be rewarded... Tempo is in the works right now ( Beta Testing ), but bear in mind that it will not be released until MTU has a solid product, that will include Tempo! Be assured that they are working feverishly to get 5.06 released (Includes Tempo) as soon as possible! :)

Walt he is right and the tempo is working. There are some other issues that are keeping it from releasing just yet. They are working fast and furious on getting everything working right together so they can release.

Re: Hoster 5.00 Tempo Change?

I hope it will be out soon!!! As I have said before, I am boycotting buying any upgrades for my MTU Software until tempo change is here and I will stick to it although I would like to upgrade Microstudio and Karaoke Home Producer and Keychange. Not having tempo change has cost me a lot of work as in order to tempo change some of the songs I've needed, I've had to create them by recording them at the correct tempo using a hardware player through a digital recorder and import that file into Home Producer then add the lyrics and sync it. This tempo change should also be included in Microstudio and I believe it will. At any rate, I will upgrade all of my MTU software as soon as possible after tempo change comes out.

Re: Hoster 5.00 Tempo Change?

I've been playing with the tempo in the beta version and I am thrilled so far. It offers more than I counted on. The only problem I have in the beta version has nothing to do with tempo as far as I know. The problem is that when the remove silence in activated the first note is distorted or garbled. I have already posted this in the beta thread. Hope this is cleared up when the next version is offered. I'm a happy camper!:g

Re: Hoster 5.00 Tempo Change?

Hoster 5.06 with Tempo change is released.

Download it here.

Now, we created 2 versions:

1. Version 506.09 has the September 2011 Import Database and has an Upgrade Install Date of September 19. 2011. We are giving all the 5.06 features away for users who can install version 503.09.

2. Version 5.06.03 has the March 2012 Import Database and has an Upgrade Install Date of March 15, 2012.

5.06 makes a backup of your Singers Database from prior versions (i.e. 3.221a, 4.000, 4032, 5.00 etc.) so you can re-install your prior version for any reason. Changes are NOT made to this file, thus you want to decide reasonably soon to downgrade or stay with 5.06. :)

.03 is the newest one (you can also look at 'date released' next to them) - the .09 was for Sept last year. This represents the month the bucket database was updated.

Kelly, thanks for your question. If you will take a minute and read the "How To Install the Latest Version" at the top of the Hoster Upgrades page, I would appreciate your comments to see if this answers your questions. http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster.htm

If you have any suggestions how or where we could place this important information, I'm open to each and every proposal. :)
