I know you are fond of using Access. One of the fields in each record shows the TYPE of file.

Hi ddouglass

Thanks for the reply

Thank you, but access will only tell me what files are HDZIP, not convert them.

Will Songverter do this or can Hoster do this, what do I have to do to make this conversion process happen.

Any idea?

Thanks

Yes Songverter will convert them, but you will need to know which ones to convert because Songverter only knows they are KMA files, not what type they were when imported.

Thanks ddouglass

That's a lot of work to sort out in access then breakout the files and process through Songverter.

Can Hoster due this automatically?

What do I have to do to start this process within Hoster?

Thank You

Joe...

This has worked for some and not for others. You can try it and see.
In Regedit you will have to reset a value to "0".
With Hoster closed open Regedit.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Micro Technology Unlimited/Hoster/Defaults.
On right side find "HDzipFilesConverted" then right click on it and select modify. Change the value to "0"
This should reset the automatic conversion, so when you open Hoster it should convert all your ZIP files to MP3+G. There may be some files it can't convert, so you may still have to go back and do some of them manually. You should get an error message for those.

Thanks ddouglass

Appreciate you're solution to this big job, I was not looking forward to.

I checked out all my files through MicroStudio and they all work.

I just wished that Admin/MTU would implement some of the suggestions I made in this forum to make the operation a little more user practical when it comes to maintenance and functionality issues.

I use this program every weekin & weekout so I'm just pointing out some Quality Of Use Issue that need some work from a practical point of view
not Theorectical.

I like the program and see it's potential and plan to continue to use it.

Thanks,

Joe...
