Feature Tranfer Error, Feature: Holster, Component: App Executables, File - , Error: Acess Denied. I tried several times with the same results. Even when I tried to re-install 3.315 it would give the same error. I have to do restore to the last known restore point on my laptop so I could have hoster back. I believe I have corrupt (Vista) OS.

Did you try turning off the uac, to see if that worked.

I put 3.317 on my new Vista laptop & I know it was a lot more complicated than it was when I installed a previous version on my old XP lapt. So, make sure you followed ALL the instructions for installing Hoster on Vista. Missing just one detail could cause the problem.

I finally had Hoster 3.321 installed and running on my Laptop with vista. As I suspected I had corrupt Vista (OS). I had to run the factory setting recovery state because my back-up disk was also corrupted and i could not recover anything from it. It took awhile to re-install everything I had. Now I have my UAC on and hoster 3.321 running and so with my DJ program. many thanks to everyone in this forum :)

If it is OK to ask on this Forum, what DJ program do you use with Hoster?
I find it pretty easy to just use Windows Media Player when just playing songs for breaks, etc.

PCDJFX for me :)

Window media players for just staright play and DSS DJ if I want two or more songs mixed together (end and begginning ) non stop.

Virtual DJ 4.3 for me; however, once in a while I DO use windows media.
