Version 4 will likely change the KMA Header Contents. That is not a trivial change as all existing KMA files will need to update to be able to use some of the new functions. There are many NEW features that will go into Hoster 4.0.

We addressed the "2-play decks" some time ago and a consensus was reached that what was really desired was NOT 2 lists, but crossfade from song to song. That will be done. We played with a 2-list product recently and it was incrediblyl cumbersome to use. There was nothing that it was able to do that adding crossfade to our one list would not accomplish.

the other software that i have seen with two decks is for DJs and they just added karaoke function to it not KJs. i have looked at this over the yrs and can not see where it would be helpful to Karaoke. MTUs single deck is great and could not be any easier to use. as for cross fade cross fade to what??
you have to have time to let the other singer come up between songs which should only take a few seconds, and thats when i talk to the folks in the bar or club. just my thoughts. Bob

I am with you Bob. I certainly don't want to have a line of singers standing up there waiting for the microphone.:e And this has certainly gotten off topic.

I don't see any need for 2 decks either. One works great.

In my opinion a crossfade would be very handy for those situations where you've got a decently long outro, say, 30+ seconds which usually gives plenty of time for the singer to exit and new singer to get a mic. Orrrrr... if you want to fade out the singer and fade in music, bumper music, dance music, a short comedy piece or whatever.

But to get back on topic: Bryant have you tried some of the Windows settings changes in the manual for audio glitches? I know yours is with video but hey saving your system a little work here and there might be all you need.

Just a thought.
Sam
