I have also hooked up headsets up that way. Radio Shack sells the adapter cord. I would be an RCA to 1/8" jack. Go to Radio Shack and tell them what you are doing and most of the time they can show you just what you need.

How do I play the Karoake screen on the second monitor, while keeping the main laptop from changing into a Karoake screen so you can work on the laptop without interference.

You may not be in EXTENDED DESKTOP.

Assuming you have a DUAL DISPLAY video card, and not simply a DUAL OUTPUT card:

1-Have the remote t.v.(or monitor) hookeed up and turned on.

2-Righrt click anywhere on a blank spot on the pc desktop.

3-Click PROPRTIES.

4-Click on the NUMBER 2 MONITOR.

5-Click the box EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP ONTO THIS MONITOR.

6-Click APPLY, then OK.

i am using my laptop headphone out to my mixing board input..i bought a groundloop elliminator from radio shack and it has and 1/8 to rca cable..i used to use a soundblaster extigy soundcard which produced a lot of noise even with the groundloop elliminator..now its just plain laptop headphone out to my mixing boards in..

billyo, my question was "do you ever use your ewxt. soundcard with headphones as the ext soundcard has rca outs. I was wonderin' how you connected those up?
