I have a ATI 9000 so my settinge might be different from his, so I can't help with the 7500.

When I go to the display properties screen, I see only one monitor, not two as I am lead to beleive that I should. I have been running Hoster this way for just goiong on a year now, and only rescently became aware that it was not right. :s

Yet, when I click on the Display Properties>Settings>Advanced>Displays tab, I am able to activate or deactivate either display device as I like. When not in Clone mode, (I try to keep it out of clone mode), it behaves as one large monitor with each physical display showing 1/2 of the total window. The top half, where I have all my icons and such, is the KJ's display and the lower half is the singers display. I can pick up an icon or other object, and drag it off the bottom of the KJ's display and it reapears on the top of the singers display. All in one smooth motion. Untill a little over a month or so ago, I litterally thought that this was normal. Then I heard other KJ's talking here and discovered that it was not.

In spite of numorus attempts to re-install the card, new and latest drivers, etc.. It still refuses to show me two monitors on the Display Properties screen.

Properties/Advanced/performance/settings. Go deeper to Visual effects/Advance. Mine is set to "Adlust to best performance". and in Visual effects/Advance, "Programs". To use the greater share of processor run time, and share of memory.

Hmmm?? There is no "Advanced" tab off the "Properties" dialog. Might be a difference between our cards. Either way, all of the important settings, (that I know about), are set as was recomended by MTU in a statement rerarding audio drop-outs. (They are rare and I am usually the only one that notices). :)

I checked them all out and found nothing of value. :f
Looks like I'm just going to have to accept the fact that my video card is defective, has been all along I didn't have the experince to even recognize it.

Sence I am going to have to replace my video card, can anybody recomend a good card that is not too expensive? I am in the poor-house as it is. :(

P.S. I thought I saw a post, some time ago and I can't find it now, that it is also possible to install 2 seperate (Standard), video cards. (Just have to select 1 of them as the primary in the BIOS. Has anybody tried this? Does it work? (With Hoster?)
