You're correct about the kma's that have been imported, but what I am talking about a cd that has either been recorded in a bin or kma format. I played one of my wifes KHPro made and it plays ok. Thanks for the help yesterday Alan

I have tried and tried to get lyrics when playing from a singers disc but no matter what I do it just won't work. I can import the same songs as kma's and they play fine. I can't figure out what is going on. When I look at the file iit has a file type as a cda instead of kma, but as I said it won't play using the singers disc, only if I import it Anyone had this same problem? My wife's cd plays some of the tracks but not all Thanks Alan

I can only think it must be something to do with your CD player, you stated in post #19
What happens if in Hoster you use the "Singers disc button" but select "ADD" instead of play from disc, do you see the lyrics from that option ?
If not did that option work in prior version ?

The program will add the song just like if I import a cd track. First the program imports the track then converts to KMA and plays okay. Only when I play the singers disc the audio is there but no video. I also just noticed that Microstudio won't play the songs from a disc either. It puts it in the play list but then the program flashes and then it has the song showing but that's all You might want to connect and see exactly what is happening. My cdroms are both working or I would not be able to import songs into the somgs to hoster and play them okay. the same thing with my wife's cds. If you might want to connect and see what I mean you do this anytime. I am not home but, my teamvier is always Thanks Alan
