Re: Hoster Stopped Working
same thing here. It never does it in the middle of a song, only at the end and when left unattended. If I would skip each song before completed it would not crash. Well atleast not yet.

Re: Hoster Stopped Working
Susan and Aarrgee I have a couple questions for both of you.
|
Re: Hoster Stopped Working
Hoster would stop working after a song has been played. Especially when left unattended. Pop up would say "Hoster has stopped working" Happened about 3 times last night during a show.
I have been using my show laptop for years now, but upgraded to windows 7. I must say that it was working perfectly in Vista. |

I can't help but think that Windows 7 is shutting down the program because it is idle for a short period of time. Not being an expert on Windows 7 I can't say for sure. I would suggest if you haven't been doing this, to take the laptop in for a good internal cleaning. Since laptops are such a tight enclosure it doesn't take a whole lot of dust to start making them run hotter. When they do then the first thing you start seeing is program errors. |
Re: Hoster Stopped Working
I have had this laptop for almost two years. The windows 7 version is 32bit.
When it does it it shuts down the program, I have to start it again. I don't lose any songs that I have on the list, it just shuts down. |
Re: Hoster Stopped Working
Try un-installing and re-installing Windows Media Player. Then don't open it.

Re: Hoster Stopped Working
I suggest you both go and get Hoster 4.20 from the download links (Support nav link at the page top).
