I have been running 2 Hosters at once for more than 2 years before there was a Singers' Database, because I have done a lot of one "girl":w Shows, besides Karaoke. I created lists of all the songs I sing (my preferred version & key) and named them, Country, 50's/60's, BigBand/Show Tunes, Slow, Break music & Fun songs, as well as Videos. I sing for 4-hour dinner dances where I never know what kind of crowd I'll have & what they are in the mood for. I have not had the time needed to look up all these songs again to add them to the Singers' Database. I also use them at Karaoke if there is a small crowd or people ask me to sing something in particular. I also have Playlists of my Singers from different locations. I have also done SockHops & Luaus & have Playlists created for them also.

As long as you are looking at a different playlist than the one being used for the Show & don't try to play from both at the same time, I never have any audio or video glitches.

I ran my Shows this way on my 6 year old HP laptop with XP for a year or more before I got my new Vista laptop over a year ago & do the same on it. With the new BA Player, I have to remember to Turn it Off before playing a song from the 2nd (3.4) Hoster.

The BookID is shown in the playlist Gerri so all you would need is to have that list up in one copy and add the songs to Singers database with the catagory as the singer's name. Shouldn't take that long to do it and you can even inculde the key changes.

Exactly, when the singers' database first came out I had over a hundred singers with many of them between 50 -100 songs and it really didn't take that long to add every single one in. I mean it was way less than a day.:)

This is not a priority for me! Since my husband's last stroke, I'm lucky to even be out doing Karaoke 2 nights a week & try to keep up with everything else:f:f not counting uploading new songs, preparing new lists, computer updates, and trying to keep up with the changes to Hoster. I have no problem using a 2nd Hoster to view my songs, just as OneEskalera has 6 open at once. I was just answering Billyo's question!
