that's true, i forgot to mentioned the asus mini laptop that i bought a while back, she hasn't seen it yet:g..but anyway i'll be thinking about it, thanks!!!!!

What do you mean by "logging an ext. monitor"? If you mean lugging I use a small (15") LCD monitor. We pack it, the keyboard and mouse in a plastic container from Walmart. So essentially we have the computer and one additional box to carry.
