Tazette,
The Microstudio 2.400 will support this drive. Make sure that you indeed have this version installed. You can do this by opening Microstudio, click on the Help Menu, About. Under About it will show you the version, make sure it says 2.400.

The other thing to do is update your ASPI drivers to use the Solution #2, and make sure to make the change at the end of the instructions in Microstudio.

Thanks Brian! I purchased the 2400 version yesterday from your company and I have not received yet in my email. Do you have any idea why? I need to get it installed quickly. Thanks again for your help.

My Plexwriter 40/12/40U is not being recognized in Microstudio 2.315 after I reinstalled it onto my new computer. Your help is requested.

Have you tried upgrading the drivers as suggested by SUPPORT at the beginning of this thread?

This link gives message that its invalid. I want to download the most recent Plexwriter 40x12x40 updates so that it can be recognized by Microstudio 2.315

Sorry about that. I reported it to MTU Support.

Try this link to FAQ and scroll down to the driver download link. See if this works for you.
