Paul, I don't think that version will work any more. The reason I say that is Microsoft has added security changes to XP that make it function somewaht like Vista and these are preventing the program from opening because of the file locations.
I can only suggest you put in a ticket and maybe MTU Support can come up with a solution. If not then you may have to upgrade to get it to work.

dale ,i downloaded the latest demo yerson and i get the same message (invalid path) on that software also. i e-mailed them about the path problem. waiting for them to reply. paul

Did you just send an email? They will never see it as they get so much spam it is hard to pick out the legit ones.
Go to the Support page on the web site and there is an email form that will send a ticket to MTU Support. A while later you will get an automatic response email backwith your ticket number. Be sure and look for that email, because if you don't get it you won't see their replies about it either.
And the "Uninstaller" is built into the setup program on your CD. Start the setup and on the first page you are given a choice to Upgrade or Remove.
I think you will need to remove the 2.613 version, before installing the Demo so there is no conflict.

Bryan should be calling you so he can hook up remotely and see what is going on. He called me this afternoon and we talked about your problem, so he has an idea what all we tried.

I Tryed To Clear It Out And Reinstallit Again. Same Message Again. I Would Buy The Upgrade But It Didn't Work Either. Maybe They Will Call. Could Me Clearing Out Java Have Done This? I Hate To Be So Much Trouble But When I Have Trouble, It Usually Goes Like This With Everything. I'm A K.j. And Last Week I Lost A Channel For A While Then It Come Back On. Haven't Figured That Out Either. I Have A Bose System And Their Different Than Most Systems. Oh Well Thanks Again Dale .i Will Keep You Posted. I Know You Want To Know What Was Wrong With It Too. Paul

Why did you remove Java? I don't think it would have anything to do with it, but you never know.

I Bought Ares Music So I Could Down Load A Song If I Needed It And It Got To Where I Couldn't Connect To It. It Read Something Like Javascript Colapse Id Block 20 %true. That Isn't Exactly What It Said But It Wouldn't Let Me On So I Took It Out .didn't Matter. Ares Changed Web Page So They Finally Gave It To Me Since I Paid A One Time Payment For The Software. It Took A While Though. I Just Never Put It Back In Because Nobody Would Tell Me What It Was Used For. Paul

Consider it part of Internet Explorer to run web page scripts written in Java, part of games and even some programs. It is actually a programming language and what you install on your computer is an interpreter for it.
