I have a track with a narration, and music background. Is there a way to keep the vocal narration, and remove the music with Vogone?

No. Vogone is designed and set up to filter voice frequencies, not for the music frequencies.

Dale is right. Vogone can't do that. I'm not aware of any program that can do this currently.

My DJ program has a little plugin that you select for taking out music or vocals, but either doesn't work very well on most songs, and it only operates during the playing of the song, and it's not a permanent change.
Interesting feature though, as it does work on some songs.

Thanks for this post.

Once you have the vocal removed file, we could digitally subtract it from the original and have the vocal sans music. I just don't think it will work well enough to make it useful.

What is the quality of the resulting vocals sans music with Adobe?

Adobe Audition 3 is $349.00, compared to Vogone 3 for $49.99. Yes, you get a lot more, if you want a full audio editing system. Vogone is a dedicated product for vocal removal, and keeping more music than any other product.
