Which operating system?
A bit more explanation would help too. Do you mean the buttons, you can't choose one? Is it greyed out? What exactly are you doing?

I'm using Windows XP, When I bring up songverter I can click on source or target buttons the browse for folders comes up but there are no folders to choose from, it just says source folder. so I can't get to any drives to get files or choose where to put them, I run XP on my desktop and it lists all folders and drives and works ok.
I already the lame dll and I don't get error message anymore.

Thanks for any help

Does the Browse for Folders window show anything in it, like Desktop, My Documents, and or My Computer?
Have you done all the updates from the Custom Update on the Microsoft Update web page?

Browse says desktop\cdg-burnr\ and target says c:\ when you click on it there is nothing in the open folder to choose from, I just did all updates and it didn't help anything, I tried to type in to change the folder but it won't type anything, when the folder is open you can click on make new folder but it won't open, the only thing that works ok or cancel button.

Thanks

There should be a + to the left of the C:\ If you click on that it should open up to the folders.

No + sign anywhere, maybe I can uninstall it and reinstall. THE ONLY FILE IN THEIR IS THE CD BURN FILE AND THE C DRIVE IN THE TARGET.

Thanks

This definitely is not the normal program operation.

I'd do a full REMOVE of Songverter, then run the Installation program again.

If that doesn't work, then I'd get another download from http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/songverter.htm and install it.

Please post back here what you find. If there is a bug, we need to fix it.

We are working on a Songverter 1.003 release right now.

Are you operating the computer with an administrator account or just an ordinary user?

Here is an image attached below of what I see when I click on the browse button for the Source Folder. This is what you should see.

There has to be something in Windows that is messed up and causing this.

You can try to delete the Registry keys for Songverter to see if that will work.

Here is how you would do this.

WARNING! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Be sure you follow this exactly. If you delete the wrong Registry Keys, Windows on your computer could be damaged, requiring it to be re-installed.

1) Left click the Start Menu and click Run.

2) Type in regedit and click OK or Open.

3) Go to the very top of the Registry Editor. It you already see the Registry Keys expanded below, skip this step and go to the next step. Click the + beside My Computer.

4) Click the + Beside HKEY_CURRENT_USER

5) Click the + beside SOFTWARE

6) Click the + beside Micro Technology Unlimited

7) Click the + beside Songverter

8) Click Default to select it. WARNING! Be VERY careful to have this exact location selected. If not and you proceed, you could damage your Windows installation, requiring it to be re-installed to fix it. BE VERY CAREFUL!

With Default selected, press the Delete Key Click Yes when it asks you if you are sure.

9) Click the X in the Top Right corner to close the Registry Editor.

Open Songverter. It will be as if you started from scratch.

This is the only thing that might make a difference, unless your Windows is messed up and that will cause a reformat to fix it on this computer.
