I had a computer crash and had to reload most of my software. I reinstalled microstudio and keyrite. When I try to open keyrite I get this messasge: Your serial # does not match your registration information. Please reinstall keyrite. Using 2.008, windows XP
I tried to reinstall and still get the same message.
Any ideas? :?

Redownload the installation file again, and install it.
It sounds like something in the code didn't install correctly.
Post back here what your results are.

I did as you recommended with the same result on both my main and back-up computer where I also have microstudio installed. I did a search before reinstalling to make sure any files with the name keyrite were eliminated. Any other ideas?

Rick,
Suggest that you initiate installation again, only select REMOVE option in the install shield, NOT UPGRADE.
Reboot the computer.
Then while connected to the internet do a complete fresh install, answering all requested information same as you did initially, filling in your original registration code and upgrade code where indicated, making certain to use the same email address as you originally did.
See if that overcomes the problem.

I tried to remove keyrite but when I accessed the setup file (which I stored on a flash drive) it only allowed me to install. I can only uninstall or repair if I first remove the registry entry for keyrite first.
Does this info help?

Have you tried going through the CONTROL PANEL, ADD/REMOVE to delete the program so you can do a fresh instell?

Yes,
If I don't remove the regestry entry first it tries to do a fresh install. The repair and uninstall screen only shows up if the regestry entry is removed.
Even if I remove uninstall the program, reboot and start over with the installation, I still get the same message on both of my computers.
I sent a e-mail to MTU explaining that my E-mail had changed. Can this have something to do with the registration?

Absolutely. The email you enter to install with must agree with the email used at the time of purchase, unless MTU has changed your records.

So how do I get this resolved? I e-mailed MTU about this 4 days ago and have not received a response. We have a show tomorrow and I need this working. I have done everything you suggested to date.

Try installing using your original email address and see if that works. It may get you by until you get everything resolved with MTU.

That is what I have been doing. When I tried to register with my new e-mail I get a message that I am attempting to load keyrite on more than 2 computers. I guess I need to send MTU another e-mail.
