Have I done something to upset you guys at MTU?
I keep posting and e-mailing the text below, but I still haven't had a reply from anyone.
If I've done something wrong then I apologise, but could someone please at least reply so I know you have seen this message.
I can grovel if that will do any good?? :)

Already registered to two computers?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry to keep nagging folks, but I've twice e-mailed support@mtu.com as instructed by the installation screen, and posted on the Registration problems forum, but still not had a reply?
My main karaoke computer is having a few sound problems, so if possible, I'd like to have the peace of mind of a backup system before the weekend gigs. I'm hoping to have the sound problems sorted by then, but just in case.....

Original message:

Hi all,
I have just tried to install Hoster on my home computer, but got the message that it is already registered on two different computers.
It's only been installed on my Karaoke computer, as I've been waiting until my home PC was upgraded before loading it onto there too. This upgrade happened only this week, so I'm not sure which other computer is registered?
The only thing I can think of, is that the actual download files were downloaded onto my old home computer, but installed on my karaoke PC.

The details of the computers as far as I know, are as follows.

Old home computer:
Athlon K1000A 256mb ram
Win XP Pro

Karaoke computer:
Athlon 2.4ghz, 512 mb ram (I think)
Win XP Pro

New home computer:
Athlon64 3.0 ghz
1gb ram
Win XP Pro

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Trevor

Trevor,

Support is in overload at the moment, but should be with you ASAP.

I doubt these last two posts would command much attention from support as the Hosts and Singers is more of a rap forum for the exchange of ideas than help issues. Splitting threads doesn't help either.

Bear with it, there's no doubt in my mind you have not been ignored and will receive support assistance within a reasonable time.

You know there was only about a fifteen hour lapse between your first post in the help forum and your first post here in this forum, wondering why you hadn't received help.

Take care,

George

Hi George, thanks for replying, I was starting to get paranoid there :s
I know it seems that the last two posts weren't that far apart, but I had originally e-mailed the problem on the 19th, and again on the 20th. I then read the post about e-mail being unreliable, so I posted in the "urgent" forum on the 20th. It was the on the 21st and 22nd that I posted in the general forum, in case I had upset the applecart with a "not immediately critical" problem in the urgent forum.
Still, I'm just pleased to know someone can see my posts :)
I'm sure the guys will get to me as soon as they can.
Thanks once again for the response.
