View Full Version : Would like a CURRENT list of Drives supported!

Was wondering if there was a NEW list of CDR/CDRW supported drives for MicroCD. I finally blew up my old trusty Yamaha CD102 and have to get a new one - QUICK - like in less than 24 hours to complete a project on time. However, it would be nice if whatever I got (external) would also work with my laptop so I only have to buy ONE unit, not two.

Any USB drives tested/supported? To be honest, this seems to be the way to go if I'm NOT using SCSI, which I don't have on my laptop.

Other recommendations that would work with both MicroCD on my workstation AND with the laptop as well?

In addition, if the computer already has an internal CD ROM, how does this affect an external non SCSI CDR?

Works?
Won't?
Workarounds?

Other suggestions?

Please re-post the updated list of CD-RW drives for MCD2401. The link on the previous post appears (below) to be broken.
